I am replacing a low temp Sunvic 7268 thermostat onto the back of the boiler in my solid fuel Rayburn Nouvelle. As well as being fixed by screws the old stat was joined to the boiler by a thin layer of white paste which I assume is some sort of heat proof temperature conductive sealant. Can anyone tell me what it is and where I can get some? Thanks.
