attempting to replace stat on a beko dryer.

im attempting to replace the red button, two blue wires stat at the back of a beko drcs 68w tumble dryer.
the red button is welded/frozen stiff, and the stat itself cant be budged with pliers.

the cause of this problem was overloading with very wet clothes caused the machine to overheat and shut down now the dryer want start - theres power to the dryer - but no lights or illumination - no beeps - and ive been through the trouble shooting list as best i can.

thank you for the suggestion, ive already seen that guy s videos but my 11 yr old beko construction and its trouble shooting advice is different from the video mans. So its a new replacement machine.
