auto locking doors

hi, my old van had developed a fault on the locking side. once you closed the doors after turning the ignition off and getting out of the van, all the doors would lock.
this was fantastic as all my tools were safe on site and none of the other workers could borrow anything without asking first. happy days.

sadly my new van hasnt developed this rather helpful fault and im constantly locking and unlocking the van.

dose anyone know if theres a gadget or any way i can adapt the van to lock auyomaticly once the doors are closed?

it would really make life easyer in my case and keep all MY tools safe.

no not really. its after the van has stopped and i get out of the van i want it to automaticly lock on its own.

Oh, sorry, Slamlocks are locked as soon as you close the door, but they can be pricey and then you have to put the key in the door each time to open, rather than using the remote.

I don't really get it, surely you just press the button on your key when you get out and they lock? It's hardly a hardship?

It sounds one sure way of locking your keys inside the vehicle .....plip remote lock every time for me!

Trying to think what could have gone wrong with his old van to make all the doors lock as soon as he closed the driver's door....
