Right I am back to wanting to install a dishwasher, 2 with 2 kids and going back full time am going to need 1 I think.

I have brought a macalpine twin waste V33WM it says on the bag, I've opened it up and on the bag it tells you which way to but the rubbers to connect to 40mm pipe but the nozzles don't have any rubber things. I can secure them on with the backnut and they clip into place. This this right with no rubber, it won't leak or have I been sold one with bits missing.

the rubber seal is in the opening which go's on the 40mm standpipe.
no the nozzles don't have rubber seal.

good that is how I have done it. Also noticed it has a hole inbetween the 2 nozzles should that be there which means putting an elbow in so its upright and water doesn't go everywhere once I empty the sink?

the hole in the middle is an air break to let air in.

what do you mean about the elbow ?
it should be placed on top of a standpipe so it will sit upright.
