I may have to replace my existing boiler that supplies my hot water and central heating. Existing boiler is an apollo Fanfare 15/30 and I am trying to get a budget prices as to what this could cost :(

from me...average 3 bedroom house. gas ok,electrics and drain nearby to boiler....baxi (average imo) £2200 with magnclea and a flush.

w. bosch...£2400 for 28i

If you boiler is in a standard 500mm width cupboard in the kitchen, like mine, you may have difficulty finding a replacement boiler which will fit into the cupboard.

The other problem is the output. The 15/30 gives out a maximum of 30,000BTU or 8.8kW. Assuming you do not want a combi (instant hot water - no cylinder), the smallest Baxi delivers a minimum of 9.14kW while the smallest WB can go down to 4KW and the smallest Vaillant to 5kW.

This assumes that the 15/30 is the correct size boiler for your house. You might like to check this by using the Boiler Size Calculator.
