Hi All,
I know this isn't the place to ask for quotes, but bear with me...
I'm looking at buying a house. An agent has suggested a house to me which had previously sold but the sale has fallen through.
The people who were going to be buying it had a survey done, and the surveyor said there was minor damp, and that it needed to have the DPC sorted.
Theres lots of other work that will need doing in the house, which I'm square with.
But I'd like to have a good idea of whether the works necessary on this house make it a reasonable buy or if it's a rip off, before I go and have a look. It's about 80 miles away from where I live, so i don't want to go and have a look if i can rule it out without the bother.
So, what I'm asking, is for a very ballpark figure on damp proof course injection into a 2 bed victorian semi. Is it going to be in the region of £500, £1000, £5000 ? or more?
thanks guys
jon
