I have had two damp surveys carried out on my sandstone cottage which is showing signs of damp - this has been confirmed but both companies have come back with different solutions:
Company A - Cut back existing plaster and install a cavity mesh damp proofing membrane system
Comany B - Damp Proof Course with associated re-plaster using mix additives.
What do I go for? I have read that Damp Proof Course is not a suitable solution for sandstone buildings - is this true?
Many thanks,
Andy
