PRESSURE DROP: Not part of the sales advertising campaign where combi boliers are concerned. Does anyone own a combination boiler that does not drop pressure. Hands up all those owners of a combi boiler who know how to repressurize it. Hands up all of the combi owners who even knew that you would need to. How many HAPPY combi boiler users are out there. !! Warning these boilers are a danger to health and sanity. !!

I love my little combi.. I always check and reset the pressure every service (12 Months) but if you need to know how to repressurise then you will find this info in the manual if you would care to read it

What are you harping on about :?

Did you get a cheap job done....are you regretting it now.....

My hands are up to all your points
My quality combis great, never looses pressure has never broken down :)

Most modern systems are pressurized, not just combis.

Mr Happy has a leak, he should get it fixed or he will be unhappy forever and his boiler will shag itself out with sludge. Stop blaming the boiler and get your leaky pipework fixed.

My combi is great! My combi never looses any pressure as my pipework does not have any leaks. However if it did have a sudden loss of pressure...yes I would know how to refill the system.

They are not dangrous however do have some limitations, you just need some education on the ins and outs of the thing!

Have a wee peak up at the FAQ section....some of the topics might be of assistance to you.

Good luck

Its been said but it bares repeating

Although I am not a great lover of combi's they work well IF the mains pressure is good and you arent asking too much of it.

Never fails to amaze m e how people who have probably picked the cheapiest price with cheap boiler and prob ignore advice about changing anything existing that may cause a problem then moan when things go wrong.

And it was either on this site or some other one, when i said you should only have to re pressurise a combi every few years max .So called expert qualified guys said i must be have dodgy water to water heat exchangers passing as they need doing every 3/6 months..

It'll be them Expert 99p rad valves they use, leaking everywhere!
