Hi there,
I have a bosch washing machine, 1201, and during the spin cycle, the back of the drum sometimes hits the back panel of the washing machine causing and knocking noise! ( the bearings are OK) If I run the machine empty or half full it is OK. About a year ago one of the three springs that hold the drum broke and I replaced it. Now it almost feels as if there is too much play in the drum ie, may be the springs have stretched. I have to say I think this is unlikely. Can you please help me with any other causes - thankyou.

Thanks for the reply. Working the next couple of days then I will investigate the weights.
I am not sure how the bearings alignment to the drum work but I wonder if misalignment has happened due to overloading etc. To be checked on Tuesday!
