Hi, this one is probably quite easy to you pro plumbers. The system is sealed with several rads and a Grant oil boiler which is working fine. The problem is when the boiler reaches temp. and switches off there is a banging noise in the pipes under the bedroom floor.I'm sure this never used to be the case so what's causing the noise ? The system is only three years old and the expansion vessel is new. Any ideas please ?

I'll get the boards up tomorow. What am i looking for , loose pipes ?
If you looked under floor in one of my jobs, the felt pads would be on every joist notch.....
