A friend of ming has recently changed his monoblock kitchen tap. Now, when he turns the hot on at the kitchen sink the pipes bang. I suggested to him that he isolate the tap and then open the tap fully and slowly turn the isolator valve on. (Think I read that here somewhere) It didn;t make any difference. He has a combi boiler. Any advice?
