I have a problem with a radiator. Everytime I turn it on, after about 15 minutes, it starts a loud thumping vibrating sound. It only happens with this radiator. I've tried bleeding it but seem to get no joy. (the radiator works perfectly apart from this.

check the trv 
Kevplumb beat me to it. If your radiator has a TRV it's on the wrong end. Confirm this by making a small adjustment next time it starts to sound off. This will cure it - but not for long. As the temperature adjusts itself to the new setting, that valve will close down to the critical point at which it thinks it's playing in a heavy metal band. Always fit a TRV to the inlet side of a radiator.
