Banging TRV( sorry, i know its already on here but)

I had a banging rad diagnosed as a trv on wrong side so i bought some bi directional Altria A ones of screwfix, got them fitted now, but still banging. Can anyone help me cos her indoors is giving me the same effect as the rad. HEADACHE.

Try turning the valves at the other end, right down - open just a quarter turn for starters. You'll probably have to prize the plastic tops off and use a small spanner or grips to turn the shafts.

Or even easier - turn the pump down. Most have 3 speeds.

Take it off, scrap it and buy a decent one.

usually a speed selecter on the terminal box ie 1 2 3 the bit the wire goes in
