Hello,

We are in the midst of renovating a room and have pulled the carpet up and the old pine floorboards look quite nice but the wood has never been treated and needs some kind of protection. We dont want to change the colour and would ideally like to treat it with a single coat of something to protect it from staining etc. It will be lightly used area.

Any suggestions ?

Thank you.

Suggest and recommend
- Osmo 3032 Clear Satin
- 0.75 litre / 750ml
- About £26

Easy to apply (very thin coats wiped on, and any extra wiped off).
Two thin coats.
Makes floor easy to look after.
Does not peal like varnish can.
If you damage floor (scratch, scuff, walk through path) can simply wipe on another thin application in those areas so simple to look after.

NOTE: Try a bit in small area first as some complain it makes their wood look yellow (I have not had this issue).
And again - apply in thin coats - it doe snot dry if thickly applied.
