Hi all.....I've got my hands on an 8' x 6' shed due to my dad getting a new one however he is keeping the base as he needs it for his new one. I'm going to put the shed in my backyard and use it mainly to keep the motorbike in so I'm not too worried about having a full base, the current surface is black sheeting with a layer of stones on top, but I'm just wondering if i need to raise the walls on this type of surface to protect them from damp and if so, what is the easiest/cheapest/best way to do so...? Interlocking plastic base tiles? Brickwork? Breeze blocks treated with some kind of water proofing? Treated wood base?
Thanks
