I have a basi Garda M90F boiler, all seems to be working fine but to day when looking at it, the pressure seems to have dropped slightly. So I pulled out the manual, turns out my my filling loop is already connected so I opened the valve to fill slightly but nothing happened??

I have done this before on the odd occasion and usually I can hear a hissing noise where I can hear the water going in but this time nothing at all is happening.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is or if there is anything I can do??

The plastic handles tend to wear so as the valves get harder to turn with age the plastic looses its strength, try unscrewing the handles and use a small spanner instead if it isint that it could be the non return valve sticking.

The little black plastic handle I turn to release the water into the system seems very loose. I have looked and there is a screw in it, I have tried tightening the screw and loosening it but nothing is happening at all.

Should I remove the screw?

Take the screw out, and remove the plastic handle.
This will reveal the metal rectangle that you can turn with a small adjustable spanner to fill your boiler.
