Basic UPVC Window Trim Glue Question

Hello to all. Just a quick question. I have replaced an old window with a new UPVC unit. I now need to fix some quadrant trim to the sides and top of frame outside to hide the gap between frame and brickwork.

I have some plumbers solvent weld, the stuff you use to join plastic waste pipes. Is this the correct stuff to stick the quadrant to the upvc frames? Or do I need another adhesive?

Arghhhh no! A generous bead of general frame sealing silicone and sqidge the quadrant onto it

Can you recommend a frame sealing silicone please? Preferably from Toolstation, as I'm going there tomorrow.

If you must use toolstation then try this one, either way you need an LMN silicone i.e. low modulas neutral cure, if you see acetoxy silicone ignore it, thats LMA, stinks of a vinegar like solvent and won't stick
