Our toilet(separate from the bathroom) and bathroom is downstairs at the moment. I have a big bedroom which I would like to section off and use as a bathroom and toilet. Does the floor need to be reinforced also would there be any problems with toilet waste. The new upstairs B&T would be on the same side of the house as the down stairs one.
Also are there any good space saving baths & toilets around.
Any advice please.
Thank you.

The floor should be fine and connection into existing soil etc should not be a problem but...

You must file a Building Notification application with your local authority because you are changing the use of a room.

Yes there are some good space saving baths and toilets around ;)

a "space saving" bath can be very annoying to use.
