I need to stick a piece of plastic bead to my bath as the bath got put in after it was tiled and the wall are not 100 percent square. I have try hard as nail but it doe snot work. What is the best stuff to use to stick to metal.
Try using anti-fungicidal sanitary silicone,be sure to dry off all areas of contact and allow to cure properly before using the bath((Overnight is about par for the course).
diycooper - using a plastic strip might be not be necessary. Use the silicon wiggikins has mentioned but if you're not confident using a skeleton gun try to mask-off (with masking tape) above, on the tiles, and below, around the bath. Apply the silicon then immediately wipe-over with wet finger (don't lick it - use soapy water) to smooth off. Then peel the tape off and you should be left with a decent bead around the bath. If the gap is huge get some bath edging tiles (you can get these loose or as a boxed kit, say from Toptiles) and use wiggikins silicon as the tile adhesive; finish when dry with tile grout - it'll look great.
Thx for advice but i dont really want to get tile is there anything what will stick this plastic bead to the metal bath silicone just isnt strong enough?
