Hi All,

Just putting in a new bath that will have a shower over at the tap end.
I have been advised to have the top level of the bath with a 1cm drop to the opposite end of the shower so the water will not collect at the back of the taps.
Is this correct? I've fitted it in but not tiled around it yet and it looks a little odd.

Cheers

Have a look for classi seal - that`ll make the join behind the tiles and the bath watertight ;)

Did a Polish plumber tell you that piece of advice?

Polish plumber?
Might as well as!

No a mate of mine who put his in a few years ago. He wont be getting a pint for that bit of advice

most baths come with a slight drop built into the lip so water runs back into the bath.
the bath should be set level or your tiles will look a mess.
give your mate a slap instead of a pint.......
