Bath panel trimming

Not sure it's in the correct forum. I have a pretty thick panel, the bath has already been installed, however the panel is to large to fit. It's heavier duty than the standard cheap ones, and it needs about 2mm taken off. Any suggestion on the easier way of achieving this. Think it's an ideal panel the type with the hardboard attached to it.

For 2mm on a UPVC Bath Panel I'd use a hand plane.

Didn't think that would work to well, plus I only have the electric ones, may have to go and try to get one

I use a grinder. On the plastic ones

What disc do you use for the plastic ?

A dremel with a cutting disk, leaves a very tidy cut or a hacksaw.

A small block plane is best.

I use my electric tile saw on the plastic ones.

interesting options, good info to see how you have all tackled it. Still not keen, but will have to try one method. It is my own so no rush
