Need a bit of help with a bath/shower wall mounted mixer. I've battened the wall which I'm going to board with hardi backer or aqua board. Looking at the instructions, they seen to be suggesting that you need to mount it on a routed out block? In not sure if it's just showing that to represent chasing out or if you actually need to mount it to a peice of wood that's been routed as shwsh. I should have adaquade space to just walk mount it, is this ok? Bit confused atm!
