I have a set of bristan bath taps with a shower head and the pull up diverter for the shower keeps sticking.

When it first happened it was about 8 months after we got the taps. I took the diverter apart and soaked it in limescale remover and sprayed into the tap to clean the sealing areas as well. When I reassembled I used silicone grease. This freed it up nicely.

Since that first time I've had to do the same thing every two to three weeks because it keeps getting stuck so I'm clearly doing something wrong.

What's the best way of sorting this out?

Ul need a new diverter mechanism. Uve had this happen a couple of times, repair it and a few weeks later the customer calls u back out. Best to just replace the part.
