Bath Tap Mixer Shower vs 'Shower on the Wall

I'm redoing our bathroom which currently has a thermostatic mixer shower over the bath, with all the pipework in the studwork. It is fed from a combi and gives great pressure. Will a deck mounted bath mixer tap (think that's correct- pipe off the bath taps on a riser rail) give the same pressure? Thanks.

I think it will be easier for me to fit; and I'd like all the pipework in the room this time. Thanks.

They would both be under exactly the same pressure.
And the flow rates should be similar.
