Okay so I have finished the renovation work in the en-suite however I am struggling for ideas of how to replace the vanity unit I ripped out!

As you will be able to see from the photo the stairs slope come up in the en suite which makes fitting a standard unit difficult as most these days come with plastic legs. I thought about having a kitchen unit and using end panels as wooden legs each side cut to an angle but I only have a maximum depth of about 510mm and 400mm doors to play with. The overall width of the alcove is just under 1000mm.

Ideas on a post card please!

Thanks

My first thoughts would be to screw batons either side of the recess to support the new vanity top, you will need to source a new basin and cut the necessary holes to fit the basin and taps.
The front would need to be removable for access to the plumbing, have a look in one of the DIY sheds, for a suitable panel you could adapt.

Or if you buy one that fits you will need to take a jigsaw to it.

I'd go for Wotans suggestion - a bespoke unit of top, frame and doors.
