I know a bathroom is split into different zones. zone 0 being in a bath - zone 3 walls away from water etc. But what about the ceiling? We are looking for a light for our bathroom. We do not like any of the lights labelled "Bathroom Lights" but do like a standard ceiling light. Are we ok to use this type of light? Light would be mounted roughly in the centre of the ceiling, not directly over the bath. There is no shower, only a bath.

Thanks

Any use to you??

Hi, thanks for that. Does the ceiling follow the same rules as floor etc. i.e., on the diagram, the bulk of the floor is zone 3.
Think by that diagram I should be ok installing a non IP rated light on the ceiling???

Thanks
