I am not sure this is the right forum for this question, however...my bathroom does not have a fan. there is a heat Recovery ventilation System in the flat. It does not help very much with the ventilation in the bathroom. Lots of moisture, lots of condensation. Bathroom gives onto an external wall. However, it is a Listed Building and I have been told by the landlord we are not allowed to have an external outlet. Any other solution to this?

If it is a serious condensation problem then there is no harm in having an informal chat with the local authorities Conservation Officer about a solution.

An obvious extractor outlet is likely to be rejected but something discrete that does not detract from the "original" appearance of the building may well be acceptable.

Prevention of damp that might result in damage to the structure of the building is an important part of conservation. and most conservation officers recognise that.

I have a dehumidifier on. I'll try talking to a Conservation Officer
Many thanks,

Cristina
