Hi there

we are looking to put wood floor in the bathroom, and from what i can tell due to moisture this is not that straight forward. but i understand a wood effect vinyl plank is a good idea.

my question is can anyone confirm this is any good and can anyone recommend a good make?

does it fit on top of the chipboard thats there already?

You can install this kind of flooring straight on top of chipboard usually. I know of a brand called Amtico that I've heard anecdotally are quite good, but I've never fitted them myself.

I'd personally recommend either over-boarding or replacing your chipboard floor with plywood. Chipboard falls to bits if it gets wet.
