hi everyone,
my shower/bathroom is looking tired but currently cant afford to redo the whole thing so am looking at a cheaper way of refreshing the Grout which doesnt look good. its black grout that currently looks grey/light grey... all funny colours now.

is there a simple cheaper way to refresh the grout please? i have heard of Grout Pens but have no idea if suitable or should be avoided for bathrooms? some sort of paint for this sort of job?

any suggestions will be appreciated. thank you

thank you Wayners. is there an option to clean and say paint over? is will it just look silly. would have preffered to actually change it to white as a refresh but maybe am asking for too much for an old bathroom lol

I've seen grout pens used and seen TV shopping channels selling product but from what I've seen when used they are rubbish.

I only know you can buy good cleaning products or dig out and regrout

HG Grout Cleaner only does just that - it cleans. Your aged discoloured black grout needs refreshed - these are two different things. The first thing to try is a ‘ grout rake’ ( google it ) only costs a few £ and will make a big difference in pulling out the scale. If your tiles are porcelain, you can use a multi tool to cut a lot of it out.
Both of these options involve going over everything again with a fresh coat of grout.
