I have a bathroom heater rated 2400W 10A and I want to know if it is ok to wire it into a 1.5mm circuit which is supported by a 16A breaker (France Norm).
I ask because I have this existing supply in the bathroom adjacent to where I wish to put the heater.
Thanx

if it's 1.5mm wire on a 10A disjoncteur with let's say 4 light fittings, it means you can add 4 more light fittings maximum, not a heater.

If you took the light fittings off the circuit, you could use a heater up to 2250 watts only, under French norms.

A way around would be to change the disjoncteur to a 16A and add the heater, but this would not be OK under french norms and would be a problem in the event of a fire/insurance claim. :!:
