Hi all I'm fully prepared for y'all to have a go at me..but...
the bathroom radiator in our small ground floor flat was removed without turning off the boiler or bleeding the system. It was in anticipation of fitting a new modern radiator of the same size. The person removed the old radiator by simpling opening the angle valves, removing the water from the old radiator and then blocking off the copper pipes from the floor with a compression valve where its now sitting. The boiler pressure dropped (obviously) and the system was refilled with the pressure now back to 1 bar. The hot water came back on instantly but there is now low pressure to the water taps to the bath in the same room. The new radiator is ready to fit - does the system need to be bled and all water removed from the other radiators before fitting the new one?(there's about 4 in the flat all on the same level). Also Does the new radiator need to be filled with inhibitor? The boiler is only 6 months old and it is a combo boiler.
Thanks!
