I am going to replace my bathroom radiator with a Towel Radiator,we have a gravity system and the radiator in the bathroom gets hot without the central heating being on.Is this radiator being supplied with water from the hot water circuit only? is it just a case of draining hot water tank or is it on both circuits meaning draining the system. This bathroom radiator stays hot all night without the central heating coming on.The pump only runs when central heating on although the boiler comes on every now and then during the night.

Thanks for the quick response hi-spec ,what i cant understand is how it stays hot .I assume the water circulating in it is from the rad. circuit but heats up from the water circuit or both.

this is a gravity hw, pumped heating.
as you say your rad is on the gravity hw side.
so it will be on the orange circuit instead of the red heating curcuit

So back at the boiler these two circuits become one,you cant just drain hot water circuit.
