Hi all,

Just wondering, im looking at buying some taps for the bathroom, the ones im interested in say for high presure only, would it really cause any problems if i bought these, I would describe my supply as medium pressure.

Im more interested in how they look, but obviously I would like them to also be functional.

Cheers

Andy

Define medium pressure - how many bar? The taps saying "high pressure" are not designed to work well with hot water supplied from a cylinder with cold water tank in the loft.

How do i work out bar........ simply?? in the bathroom im getting a flow of around 1litre in 7 seconds, or 8.5L a minute.

The supply would come from the mains and a combi boiler.

Thanks for your responses.

You're decribing flow rate, which is different to pressure. However, that apart, since the pressure has been deemed suitable to install a combi by someone, you can be pretty certain that the taps you want to get will work fine.
