Bathroom vent

Can someone tell me if this will work.

Want to put a bathroom extractor fan in to remove the bathroom steam. Instead of knocking holes in the wall I want to vent to my loft and straight into the cold water header tank - theory being steam will condense to water.

yes your mad, vent it to outside.
vent it to loft then out through a grill in the sofit

Its a novel idea but think about it the steam would be carrying all the bugs and odours from the bathroom/toilet as well as the dirt you are showering or bathing off so you would be contanimating the water supply you are going to use.
