Hi all, only just joined, iv been doing up a 1930's deteached house and now started on the bathroom i have turned the old airing cupboard in to a new separate shower enclosure the shower is of a wetroom style the waste exist the between the joist and have routed out of the house at the lowest possible point below above the ceiling.

The bath waste exists about 10" above and 10" to the right of where the shower waste and runs horizonatally to the exterior soil stack, obviously if i connect both the wastes together there is a risk that the shower will flood when i empty the bath is my only option to run a horizontal waste above the bath or is there some type of non return valve i can use?

little pic below

Hep V O waste valve ( and adapters ) in place of 20th Century Traps

If your bath waste exits above the shower waste you cant join them unless you drop the bath waste into the shower, best way will be strap on boss and separate connection into stack.
