Baths,Acrylic or Steel

Being a rather large person (fat :D ) i`m wondering wether to go for an acylic bath or a steel bath, is acrylic as strong as steel, any advice please

not if you buy from the sheds like bq they are cr*p.
you can see through the bottom.
 
A composite acrylic bath, like Carronite, may be just what you need.

The cheapo 3mm acrylic ones are better described as a cheap horse drinking trough.
 
8mm for acrylic, go for a steel one instead, but colder on the backside but.....

Another vote for carronite they are available in some bigger sizes as well
 
I have just had installed a large Carronite bath for myself, they are excellent, absolutely no flexing, superb quality.
