I have a plywood surface which will be Tyvek'd, then battens and render board.
Standard size is 25mm battens before screwing render board to them but I'm wondering if I can rip the battens on a table saw to around 10/15mm instead and will that air gap be enough for the plywood etc to breath through the Tyvek?
I'm also planning on sealing any gaps at the bottom and only having a gap at the top with insect mesh... is this OK?
Cheers.
