Hello, could I know if anyone knows that could I power the 5VDC LED Tape with 3PCS 1.5V Batteries, I will install the batteries in a battery holder box, the total output voltage only 4.5V, can I?
Maybe it will work fine at 4.5V?
4x 1.2V rechargeables would get you 4.8V which is surely close enough.
3x 1.6V lithiums would also do the same.
On the other hand, I would have thought that your use-case is common enough that there already exists a product to do this.
You could consider a USB power bank - a 5V supply, with some large capacities available, with built-in charging and all supplied in a convenient enclosure!
...although, be aware, the longer the LED tape, the shorter the battery life!
