Hi guys,

I have a Friedland 424 Door chime, which takes 4 1.5v batteries. Is it possible for me to add a transformer to the chime, so that it can be main's powered instead?

Hi, yes it is you can buy 6-8v transformer from Friedland or Byron.

DS

Thank you. Would it be difficult to wire it up though? I mean where would I connect the transformer wires to?

A plug with a 3amp fuse fitted. The terminals are marked in the chime and the transformer will come with instructions.

Thanks very much chivers & deadshort for clarifying that.
