Hi everyone. I hope can help with my baxi at the moment i have no heating or hot water. On the light panel its showing pump or pressure failure. Ive pressured the system and taken the screw of the front of the pump all seems to be working fine. But the flame still doesnt want to spark it doesnt even attempt to im at a loss with this if anyone can help id be most grateful.

Thanks for that.where would i locate it trying to save after Christmas

Is the pump/low pressure light still on after you repressurised the boiler ?

Yes it is . I put it up to the high end of 2 bar taken screw of front of pump and its spinning

Sorry mate I was thinking of a different boiler, your boiler does not have a low pressure switch.

Ive traced the pressure pipe around to a switch it seemed a bit corroded so a bit of wd 40 and then forced it up and down a bit and hey presto it fired up . Thanks for the advice and pointing me in right direction . This gas engineering is easy lol

Chances are, it will probably go again.
It will need stripped and cleaned, greased and the diaphragm replaced.
Easy to man of your skills

Screw on auto air vent are usually done up on these, loosen it pump will bleed and it will probably fire now

All working fine now thanks my esteemed colleagues above pointed me in right direction.
