i have just turned the heating on in this property for the first time since moving here at the begining of last month and in my annoyance of the bloody thing not working i starting messing about with thing i hadn't tried turning, i know bad idea but none the less it's done now.
i got the heating working but not until after i turned the tap on which i think i've worked out is the system fill pipe, after which i noticed a lot of extra noise. a little while later i went outsode to see that the overflow pipe was streaming constantly (cold), but if i turn the thermostat on for heating or hot water the over flow becomes tepid.
i have read all the manuals online and searched forums for help, and i can not find a thing to help. the presure is currently about 2.2. the only way to stop the noise and water flow is to turn the main water input.
Also last night about middnight i turnned the water off and opened all the taps in the house thinking that may releave presure or something?
please help i have no idea what to do, i have no water, a 35weeks pregnant girlfriend moaning and stressing that i've broke it, and no money to get an engineer out!!
Feel free to ask for more info
Thanks in advance
