Just had a couple of lights blow upstairs. Just waiting for the next thing to go wrong!!!!!
I think that is totally inappropriate for you to give advice to encourage someone who is not trained or competent to work on gas to do his own DIY repairs to a gas appliance!

Hello Agile. You'll have to excuse my presumption that Ninja is suitably qualified to undertake gas work. His first post however does state that he has already undertaken 'work' on the boiler.
