Hi,

I have a Baxi 105e combi boiler which is about 3 years old. Recently when you turn on a hot tap, everything is fine and out comes lashings of piping hot water. However when it hits maximum temperature (80 degree's on the LED display) it cuts out for a few seconds the fires back up when the water temp dips to 60 or 70 degree's etc. This keep happening for a while until it gets bored and then decides not to fire up again, so illuminating the flashing 30 degree light on the boiler, and the water runs stone cold. There seems to be no fixed time that it does this. Sometimes it will do it in a few minutes (ie fires up 4 times then wont) or will be ok for a long time before failing to fire up again. The central heating is fine and always fires up to bring it back up to temperature. Last year it had a new pump of some sort when a similar thing happened to the heating side of things (it would really fire up without tripping / cutting out), and my plumber recently replaced a temperature sensor but this has had no effect. The shower seems to trip it out the most but it seems to happen regardless of which tap is used or how fast the hot tap is running. Anyone out there know the answer or come up with the same problem / solution?

Hope someone can help! James
