Baxi 105e intermittent flame (with a twist?)

Sorry first chance I have had to post again, it is the case front panel as you see being removed in the diagram, there are no trapped wires, I have removed and repaced any connections, earths and pcb block connectors, still havnt put the front cover back on and no problems, I even tested the ch on timed and came on, have checked pressure switch and seems ok with a gentle blow/suck, fans comes on as normal. I have now come the end of my basic abilities, so will ask a freind who Corgi registered (who on his hols at the moment), he will look it over and see if theres any faulty parts, will let you know my findings (if there are any!!).

Hang on!

How could you be "blowing into tubes" ( which you shouldn't do anyway ) without taking off the combustion chamber cover?

Is that what you have really taken off to make the boiler work?

That should only be done by a corgi anyway!

Tony

Had a look today only wires that could be move is the flame sensing probe wire and ignition wire make sure thes are both pushed fully on.
But with Agile on this how are you suckig on tubes if it is not the combustion front you have took off

It is defo the front cover and not the combustion chamber cover, if I didnt know the difference I shouldnt go any near the boiler. No im not corgi, but I am also not soft, I only ever check electrical connections (which I am more than qualified for), I removed the combustion cover to check the air pressure switch and for a visual inspection, I would never mess with gas or water pressure etc etc.

I have checked the electrode connections and seem ok, but sparking dosnt seem to be the problem, you can hear the electrode clicking even with the cover on, can I ask what the flame sensor does, and also what the silicone tube that runs from the gas valve to the burner is, and before you say anything Im not going to remove or mess with it, Im just one of those people who like to know how things work and has lots of useless information in his head. Thanks
