I am new to the forum and hoping for some help and guidance!

Our boiler seems to have an issue with the pressure gauge, in a nut shell it can’t seem to decide what pressure is in the boiler.

The pressure drops so we fill the boiler when it cold, the next day the pressure has increased so we end up reducing this again when it’s cold and then drops to 0.
The other day it had been low 0 and we increase the pressure to 1.5 bar, the following day I checked it when the heating was on and the pressure was off the scale! I switched the heating off and when it cooled down I emptied the excess water out the boiler. It’s now on 0 again.

Has anyone any ideas what could be causing this issue, we are getting heat and hot water ok...

Expansion vessel isn't functioning as it should probably.
You do know that pressure increases when heating is used ,and drops when system cools ?

your expansion vessel needs re-pressurising/replaced , hundreds of posts on how to do it, but follow ALL steps you cant do half a job

This is probably a job for the hubby, thanks for the advice :)
