Hi all ,, Recently had an annoying leak on Baxi 105e to rear of pump, think i managed to trace to where pump mounts to inlet assembly. Purchased some o rings and thought esy swap and jobs a good un.. If only that was it.. Lower retaining screw holding pump to inlet assembly is seized solid . Tried to tap the screw round with flat blade but dont want to mangle posi screw head so had to stop.. Any suggestions for me on how to get this damn screw un done.

Thanks In advance

So had another stab this afternoon after a good dowse of WD40. Found a driver that was as good fit as I could get as it had already been mullered. No joy. So extended a slot out to edge of pan head and got flat blade on angle with light tapping with hammer to knock it round. Still no joy .. looks like I may have to remove pump and then inlet manifold and try with everything off. Need to get replacement screw and parts before going any further so I can at least get it all back together. Comment tips welcome for strip down .. cheers for advise so far , seems a gorilla did it up .

Just thought i would post an update even though a little embarrassing. So ordered new o rings and was just about to pull whole pump and inlet assembly to remove screw.. I noticed hex was also leaking around one of the seals. On closing up the front control flap i glanced down and saw the pressure gauge off the scale top end. Drained out some water and pressure and in short did some checks on filling loop valves. yep it was letting a tiny drip past that was pushing pressure up which in turn was forcing both leaks. New filling loop and jobs a good un.. Moral of the story , always look outside of what you see first ..

Replacing the o rings is still the way to go forward. Regular task on this boiler type
I would have drilled the screw head till the head came off
