Hi My boiler works fine lovely hot showers and the CH works perfectly when I need it to. 
Yes. However, parts of the faultfinding and testing procedure would involve accessing parts of the boiler that can result in leaks, that are not visible, and could prove lethal, so the only advice permitted to be given here, is to call upon an RGI who has experience dealing with faults and is familiar with the boiler you have... they are the questions you ask whoever you call, better to get someone who comes recommended.

Have you done the checks in the "users instruction booklet" just asking as its the fist approach to fault finding before calling out a repair technician.
