Hi everyone
I've just had this boiler fitted and it's not working. The pressure keeps dropping. The plumber has said there must be a leak in the system.
To this end he has replaced the majority of the piping downstairs as he reckons it isn't leaking upstairs as we would've seen water staining on the ceiling. The pipe work not replaced downstairs has been isolated from the system.
The pressure is still dropping despite the new pipe work and now 2 radiators downstairs are not heating up. Has anyone got any ideas of what might be the next step please?

Isolate the boiler with the valves underneath if prssure does not drop then its definetley on system .
if it does drop then check its not running through the condensate to outside

...The pipe work not replaced downstairs has been isolated from the system...
How was that done?
The 2 rads not working has nothing to do with a leak, could the cause lay in the isolation of the pipework?
Was there a leak with the old boiler?

The old boiler was gravity fed so not sure about a leak. The rads at the back of the house were taken out of the system by the plumber - he replaced the T joints that fed them with straight connectors. The problem was there before he isolated them.

What happens when you turn the heating on, and all the rads off, apart from the 2 that stay cold?

Doesn't seem to be an easy solution. Get him back to sort it out; it is his problem, not yours. Sounds like he piped it up wrong.
