I have a leak from the diverter manifold area of my Baxi boiler. I replaced the diaphragm 2 or 3 years ago because it was leaking from the pushrod by the microswitch bracket and all was well. The leak is now coming from behind the differential valve at the front of the diverter manifold underneath from the bottom grub screw. Will this be caused by the diaphragm failing again or something more complicated. The leaking water is a brownish colour. Any advice much appreciated.

No, doesn't look like it.

yep that can be a leak of one of two parts, there is a tiny 0 ring at the rear of the diaphragm housing and if it leaks from there the system pressure wont drop, if it is leaking from the front end seal from the diverter valve then the system pressure will drop, you get service kit that contains everything you need

Doesnt have a cartridge mate
System pressure won’t drop significantly with this and I’ve never had the one at the back of the differential valve fail. I may be wrong but hey ho.x
Thanks all. Is it an easy fix i'm pretty handy but my plumber / gas man can't come until the middle of Feb and i'm a bit bothered about it getting worse. He's going to give the old thing the once over (it's not been looked at for 12 years) doesn't time fly.
