hi there

Am new to this so please bear with me !

I have a baxi which is showing up with a flashing 50 which in the fault finding says fan fault.

on HW and heating the boiler fan kicks in and the speed seems fine , i can hear the pressure switch working but there is no ignition.

i have tested the pressure switch with a multimeter - thats ok

It seems an imtermitten fault as every so often the ignition kick in and it lights.

I looked at changing the fan but it looks fine so am thinking of just changing the aps to see if that cures it

any suggestions or comments appreciated

Sorry but the aps etc is not a diy area to be messed with. No advice on gas safe items will be discussed in the public forum. Call out a gas registered engineer
